Nestled in the heart of the Lumiar jungle, this architectural dream is a glass-and-wood sanctuary where luxury meets the wild. Crafted from a symphony of premium Brazilian hardwoods—from the strength of Ipê and Maçaranduba to the aromatic soul of Cedar—the residence features soaring high ceilings and expansive glass walls that invite the forest inside.
Complete with a breathtaking wooden deck that floats amidst the canopy, it is more than a home; it is a masterpiece of light, nature, and craftsmanship.
Key Feature
Challenge
The Precision of Remote Craftsmanship Building a structure with high-volume glass and heavy, premium hardwoods like Maçaranduba in a dense jungle environment posed a massive logistical challenge. Transporting large materials through the canopy without disturbing the ecosystem required surgical precision and specialized labor.
Solution
Sustainably Integrated Design We utilized a low-impact construction method, assembling the primary timber frame on-site to preserve the surrounding old-growth trees. By pairing the natural strength of the Brazilian wood with structural glass, we created a residence that feels as though it was grown from the forest floor rather than placed upon it.
